الملخص

This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical significance of the Leontief model in analyzing intersectoral relationships within the economy. The main objective of the study is to assess the efficiency of resource allocation across sectors and to conduct an econometric analysis based on inflation indicators. The paper analyzes the core equations of the Leontief model, technological input coefficients, and their economic interpretation. In the empirical part, a regression model is constructed using inflation data, where annual inflation is considered as the dependent variable and year-to-date inflation as the independent variable. The results of the analysis indicate that the model has a low explanatory power (R² ≈ 0.08) and is statistically insignificant. This suggests that inflation is a complex and multi-factor economic phenomenon that cannot be adequately explained by a simple regression model. The findings highlight the necessity of applying multivariate econometric models for more accurate analysis and forecasting. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of a scientific approach in economic policy formulation and decision-making processes.
