METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING RESEARCH SKILLS IN 5–6-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN BASED ON AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

Resumen
The article examines the pedagogical opportunities and methodological foundations for developing research skills in 5–6-year-old children based on an integrative approach. Particular attention is paid to the formation of such research skills in older preschool children as observing the environment, asking questions, making assumptions, conducting simple experiments, comparing the obtained results, and drawing conclusions. The content of the integrative approach is considered from the perspective of combining children's cognitive, speech, social, creative, and practical activities within a unified pedagogical process. The article describes a methodological model for organizing research activities, pedagogical conditions, and effective forms of work with preschool children. It is substantiated that the use of problem situations, observation, simple experiments, discussions, practical tasks, and creative activities within an integrative learning process contributes to the development of independent thinking, cognitive activity, and research abilities in 5–6-year-old children.
